No, you won't notice anything from an overbore, unless the engine is in bad shape. You are only gaining 7 cubic inches boring a 351 .040. You don't bore engines for big power gains, you bore them to have a clean and true cylinder to work with.

A stock 351W block can handle more than 400fwhp. Don't be so sure. A former employer of mine was running a stock block 351W stroker in the 370 cid range. He was running a crank trigger on the setup.
