WebJul 31, 2024 · SherOrpen. Thanks. I unplugged the filter entirely and plugged a new corded phone into the jack. No dial tone (but the DSL does go down because it's disconnected, obviously). Plugged a different filter (from another location in the house) into that jack and reconnected the phone and DSL lines. DSL works, no dial tone.
